a blog on tomorrow’s impact on today.

SPEAKING

A personal passion of mine is speaking to fellow young people (and of course that means young at heart) about topics that really matter.

I’ve developed a talk geared exclusively to the college-aged audience in a (hopefully) inspiring fashion. It synthesizes all that I’ve learned about life, business, and reality, from my time starting an Internet company at 15, working full-time as Director of Marketing while attending Rutgers, my lessons from corporate America, and (last, but not least) aggregated life lessons.

The talk is entitled, “What it means to live, fail, and thrive in today’s new world.” I truly believe that today’s college graduates are entering a world that is orders of magnitude different than any other in world history. Globalization, technology, and crushing competition make each choice critical. Bluntly, today’s young people are either the most screwed generation in American history or the most fortunate. I discuss the underlying economic and technological forces driving today’s change and share personal anecdotes on determination, perseverance, passion, and choice– and how they will be what ensures that we end up in the “fortunate” category.

an Internet entrepreneur turned Brand Manager. I've “returned” to my roots and today focus on emerging media strategy. And strange as it is, if I look familiar its because I was on the TV show The Apprentice. And, yes, I know it was terrible.
